Warm Air
Warm air systems were popular with new house builds in the 70’s and are still popular in the United States.
The system works by pumping hot air through your house by a series of warm air ducts. They can heat the air of your home very quickly and there are no radiators.
Warm air systems are compliant with modern building regulations and so it is efficient to have one in your home.
As with all heating systems it is important to have them serviced, especially to check that all the filters are in place, the air flues are correct and to remove drafts.
Warm Air Heating systems are quick and easy to fit. With installations typically undertaken in just one day this means there is minimal disruption to the homeowner as the work is confined to the heating compartment area and there are no floor boards to lift or pipework to run that would be associated with a wet system installation.
